The whole Moon hangs over a sleeping valley, among the stars.

Season 1: Shardfall · opens Sun Sep 27, 16:00 UTCSeason 1: Shardfall · day 1 of 56Season 1 is over. Season 2: Bear Winter begins Sun Nov 22.

It went to the moon. The moon did not survive.

The whole timeline yelled 'to the moon' so loud it broke. Now you farm the pieces.

Reel 1 · The crack

The whole Moon hangs over a sleeping valley. As you scroll, posts saying 'to the moon' fill the sky, the Moon cracks along lilac seams, one shard streaks down, and morning breaks over a farm in a fresh crater.

Once, the Moon was made of hype.

Then the whole timeline yelled 'to the moon' all at once.

We were very loud.

Moonfall Farms

a cozy 3D farm in your browser

Grandma Hodl

Oh good, you're awake. The Moon fell on your farm. Congrats, you're a landowner.

Hold it down: a finger, the mouse, or Space or Enter.

The morning farm dims to a sleepy grey-lilac: the beds go pale, the sprouts droop and yawn, and the timers keep running.

Reel 2The deal

Sister Burnadette

Before you plant a thing, here is the whole deal. It fits on a ticket.

p. 2 · The deal

The whole buy-in. Three lines.

  1. Free until level 6. About your first 30 minutes. No wallet, no email.

  2. Then keep $10 of $MOONDUST in your wallet. It stays yours: the game reads it and never moves, locks or spends it. Sell it any time.

  3. Every fee goes to the Kiln. Half becomes SOL, pushed every Sunday to eligible players, weighted by play, never by holdings. The project never takes more than 30%.

What leaves your wallet

Playing the free trial
Nothing.
Signing in with your wallet, at level 6
Nothing. Sign-In With Solana moves no funds.
Getting your pass
About $11 of SOL, swapped once for $MOONDUST in a swap you sign inside the game. The extra $1 covers price moves. The Dust stays in your wallet.
Burn to Boost (optional)
Only what you choose, $1 to $100 a day. 90% is burned and 10% goes to the Kiln. Dustborn burns are 100% burned.
The Back Room (optional)
The price shown. 15% is burned and 85% goes to the Kiln.

Each transaction also pays Solana's network fee.

Tiers

  • Pinch $10
  • Pouch $100
  • Sack $1,000

A badge and a name glow. Never more rewards, never more speed.

Nap rule

If your Dust is worth less than $10 for 24 hours, the farm naps. Timers keep running, nothing is lost, and a top-up of just the difference wakes it.

Outage rule

If the price feed or the chain can't be read, nobody gets locked out: the gate fails open.

Measure

The $10 is measured in dollars at the game's price feed, a 10-minute median.

Holding is a pass, not an investment.

$MOONDUST is a memecoin, and its price can fall to zero. The pass is priced in dollars, so a drop can push you under $10. Hold what you'd spend on a game.

A lilac pulse ripples out from the middle of the field, and every sprout stretches: the soil is awake.

Sister Burnadette

Moon soil only wakes for farmers with Dust in their pocket. Not spent. Carried.

Sister Burnadette

There. The soil can feel it.

Pinch · $10

A day on the farm passes as you scroll: the sprouts grow stage by stage and ripen, Take Profit harvests the field, the Hodl Oven bakes, the Trade Barge takes an order, and the sun sets over the whole farm. At night eight grey FUD Moths land on the field, each carrying a rumor, and fog creeps over three ripe plots left unpicked.

Reel 3Level 1Scroll is time

Plant it. Wait for real. Take profit.

18 crops · 4 growth stages each · 9 buildings · levels 1 to 15 at launch

Crops grow on real timers, even while you sleep. Shardwheat takes 2 minutes. Diamond Cotton takes 8 hours.

Take Profit harvests everything that's ready.

Bake it in the Hodl Oven.

Ship it on the Trade Barge. The Captain pays in Crumbs, XP and Glow.

A visit takes 3 to 8 minutes. Queue the long timers, go touch grass, come back to a full barn.

Then night falls, and the valley gets weird.

Captain Liquidity

Twelve jars of Moon Honey or the barge sinks. Metaphorically. Mostly.

Eight FUD Moths just landed. Each one is carrying a rumor. Swat one for the receipt.

Grandma Hodl

Receipts burn the fog. Always have.

FUD MothsLevel 3

They land on growing crops. Leave one for 2 hours and it adds 20% to the timer. Swat it.

FUD Fog

It forms on a ripe crop left for 8 hours. Receipts burn the fog: ship any order.

The eight rumors, and their receipts
  1. 'ser this is an asset flip'

Every mesh is generated in code from 59 recipe files: 18 crops with 4 growth stages each, 9 buildings, 4 animals, 5 pets and 6 cast members in 3D, the cracked Moon and the pillars. Downloaded 3D models: 0.

  2. 'timers will desync'

One pure rules engine runs on our server as the authority and in your browser as the prediction, property-tested with fast-check. A month offline replays in about 9.9 ms where this page was built.

  3. 'someone will fake a burn'

Every burn is checked on-chain by a verifier with 20 exact reason codes; its forgery tests and its branch coverage on money code are counted in CI. Try to fool it in Reel 5.

  4. 'they'll hold your coins'

Non-custodial. Sign-In With Solana moves no funds, and you sign every transaction in your own wallet. The game never holds your coins.

  5. 'double-tap, double-spend'

A server-authoritative Fastify API: idempotent command batches, row locks and live updates over SSE. Tap twice and it counts once.

  6. 'weekend project'

About 141,600 lines of TypeScript and 78,000 lines of tests; the tests are counted in CI.

  7. 'stock music, stock jokes'

16 music stems rendered from code with Tone.js, 47 CC0 sound effects and 1,387 lines of copy written in voice.

  8. 'it'll melt my phone'

Instanced rendering, three quality tiers and a 30 fps floor. Your device is getting the still cut, so it stays cool.

The camera tilts up to the night sky, where five Glow Pillars rise over the valley. In the whale test one pillar climbs and sinks with the slider.

Reel 4Level 4Five Choruses, one sky

Pick a Chorus. They're all a bit much.

Memecoin communities play as Choruses. Everything you harvest, ship and burn feeds your Chorus's Glow Pillar, and a bright pillar grows every member's crops up to 25% faster. Glow halves every 12 hours, so a Chorus has to keep singing.

p. 5 · Burn to Boost

One transaction. You sign it.

Burn to Boost is optional. You burn a Chorus coin from your own wallet, in one transaction you sign: 90% is burned on-chain and 10% goes to the Kiln as a tithe. Dustborn burns skip the tithe, so 100% is burned.

Our server credits nothing until it has read the transaction from the chain and checked every instruction. The game never holds your coins and never signs for you.

Limits: $1 minimum and $100 per wallet per UTC day. Each extra dollar on the same day counts a little less.

Before you sign, the game's preview says exactly what moves. For a $10 BONK boost at $0.00002 per BONK:

Before you sign

500,000 BONK at $0.00002 each

Burned 90% / tithe 10%

You'll burn 450,000 BONK and send 50,000 BONK to the Kiln. Nothing else leaves your wallet.

Rule one: if the scroll says 'free,' the scroll is lying. I wrote those scrolls.

The farm on a Sunday afternoon. When the Sunshower comes, warm rain falls in sunlight and a rainbow rises over the Kiln.

Reel 6Level 8Follow the fees

Every fee goes into the Kiln. Here's where it comes out.

p. 6 · The Kiln Split

50 / 15 / 10 / 25

Three things feed the Kiln: the 10% tithe from partner-coin burns, premium purchases in the Back Room, and the creator fees from $MOONDUST trading on the launchpad. Once a day the Kiln turns them into SOL and splits them.

  1. 50% Sunshower, pushed to players every Sunday
  2. 15% buys $MOONDUST back and burns it
  3. 10% Community Chest: contests, bounties, councils
  4. 25% the project

The project never takes more than 30%. Any change is posted on the Ledger 30 days ahead.

Sunday, 16:00 UTC

p. 7 · The Sunshower

The Sunshower

Half of every fee becomes SOL for the Sunshower. Every Sunday at 16:00 UTC it's pushed straight to eligible wallets. 80% of the week's share rains that Sunday and 20% saves up for the season-finale Sunshower. There's no claim button, so there's nothing to phish. The recipient list and its hash are published by 04:00 UTC, and every payout signature lands on the Ledger.

Rewards come only from fees the game collects. Nothing is minted. Some Sundays will be small.

Who's eligible this week

  • Level 8 or higher, with a linked wallet
  • At least $10 of $MOONDUST at the weekly snapshot and at 5 of 7 unannounced daily snapshots
  • Active on at least 4 of the week's 7 days
  • Passes the sybil check

How each pool splits

  • 20% in equal shares to everyone eligible
  • 20% by play tier (Echoes percentile)
  • 50% by the square root of gameplay Echoes
  • 10% to members of the week's leading Chorus (7%) and the Comet (3%)

No wallet gets more than 1% of a pool.

Holding more never earns more

Farmer A800 Echoesholds a Pinch
Farmer B800 Echoesholds a Sack
Change B's holding

Same Echoes, same share. This toggle does nothing, on purpose.

Both shares come from the game's own payout code, allocateSunshower, splitting a sample week of 1,000 eligible farmers.

The first Sunshower falls Sun Oct 4, for the launch week. The season-finale Sunshower, beside the last weekly one, falls Sun Nov 22.

The Sunshower is pushed. If anyone asks you to claim it, that's Rugsworth.

  • 2% Sunshower Seed: 0.25% of supply unlocks each Sunday from day 1 to day 50 and is sold for SOL into the Season 1 Sunshowers.

After vesting, the team sells at most 0.25% of supply a month, announced 48 hours ahead. KOLs are paid only in SOL from the project's share, and every payment is disclosed.

Questions

FAQ

The questions people ask before they plant anything, answered plainly.

Every rule and every formula, on one page you can print
  1. What is Moonfall Farms?

A cozy 3D farming game in your browser, on desktop and phone. You grow crops on real timers, bake, ship orders and join a Chorus: a team built around a memecoin community. The lore: the whole timeline yelled "to the moon" so loud the Moon broke, and you farm the pieces.

  2. Is it free?

Free until level 6, about your first 30 minutes, with no wallet and no email. To keep progressing after that, you link a wallet holding at least $10 of $MOONDUST. You keep it: it's held, not spent.

  3. Do I spend the $10?

No. The game reads your balance and never moves, locks or spends it. You can sell it any time. Getting it takes one swap of about $11 of SOL, where the extra $1 covers price moves, plus Solana’s network fee.

  4. What if $MOONDUST drops and I'm under $10?

You get 24 hours. After that the farm naps: timers keep running and nothing is lost. A top-up of just the difference wakes it. If the price feed goes down, nobody is locked out.

  5. What is the Sunshower?

Half of every fee the game collects becomes SOL. Every Sunday at 16:00 UTC it's pushed straight to eligible players' wallets, with no claim step. Rewards come only from real fees, so some Sundays will be small.

  6. Who's eligible for the Sunshower?

Level 8 or higher with a linked wallet; $10 of Dust held at the weekly snapshot and at 5 of 7 unannounced daily snapshots; active on 4 of the week’s 7 days; and passing the sybil check.

  7. Does holding more $MOONDUST get me more?

No. Pinch ($10), Pouch ($100) and Sack ($1,000) are badges and a name glow. The Sunshower is weighted by gameplay Echoes only, and the code that splits it doesn't take holdings as an input.

  8. What does the project take?

25% of fees, never more than 30%, with any change posted 30 days ahead. The team also holds 3% of supply, vesting over 12 months. Every project wallet is public on the Kiln Ledger.

  9. Is there a presale or whitelist?

No presale, no whitelist, no free allocations. $MOONDUST launches on Moonfall Day, Sun Sep 27, in the hour before the game opens. The contract address appears here, in the game, on X, in Discord and on the Ledger within the same few minutes. Any address before then is fake.

  10. What is Burn to Boost? Do I have to?

It's optional. You burn a Chorus coin from your own wallet to boost your Chorus: 90% is burned on-chain and 10% goes to the Kiln. $1 minimum, $100 a day per wallet. Dustborn burns are 100% burned.

  11. Will the game ever ask me to approve, claim or sign for free stuff?

Never. It asks you to sign in, which moves no funds, to swap for Dust, and to sign burns or purchases you chose, each with a plain-English preview. Anyone offering free Dust or a claim link is Rugsworth.

  12. Which wallets work?

On desktop, Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. On Android, any wallet with Mobile Wallet Adapter. On iPhone, open the game in Phantom's or Solflare's in-app browser.

  13. Will it run on my phone?

It's built for phones: three quality tiers, a 30 fps floor on low-end devices, and 3 to 8 minute sessions.

  14. Who launched the Moon?

Nobody knows yet. The Crater Watcher says to count the seams.

Holding is a pass, not an investment.
